Christmas is always a special time at Waterfront. It is a time of joy and fun as well as a time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus. Here are ways that you can join in the celebration:
Join us immediately following the service on December 20; we are going to party! Bring your favorite dish to pass and be prepared to meet some new people. It will be an awesome time for community and building relationships with people of all ages!
CHRISTMAS SERVICE
We will be holding our very special traditional Christmas service on Wednesday, December 23 at 6:30 pm. This will be a great time to gather and celebrate Jesus’ birth through song, story, and a brief message. Our Christmas service is always one of the highlights of the year. We look forward to seeing you there!
SUNDAY DECEMBER 27
Waterfront has had the tradition of taking a week off church between Christmas and New Years (December 27, 2015). God created the world in 6 days, then rested on the 7th. We take December 27 to remind our people that Sunday is to be a day of rest…and we want to give us all the excuse to do exactly that. So sleep in, turn off the TV, take a walk, read and pray, and spend time with family and friends. But NO WORKING!!! 🙂 Then starting January 3rd we are very excited to launch into a new series “50 Days of Transformation” when we will do church, and rest!
